Vintage Beaded Coin Purse, Native American Iroquois souvenir, US Flag, 1928, issues

Small souvenir coin purse made by Native American, most likely Iroquois from upstate NY. The little bags were made along with other small beaded items by Native Americans in the late 1800s to early 1900s. The items were sold as souvenirs by the Indians. This is a brown fabric trimmed in white opaque beads around the edges. The date '1928' is on the front in brown beads. Beaded US flag on the back. Envelope closure with metal hook, cotton lining.

CONDITION: Good condition. Lightly aged and dirty. It looks like there are 2 loops of beads missing from each side, only old thread remains in those spots. The hook is rusted and the loop for the hook is broken.
