Vintage 1940s Dorothy O'Hara Dress, Black Dressy Evening Cocktail with Lace over Peach Draped Bust, 36 bust, some issues

MEASUREMENTS: the item is 44 inches long, it will fit a 36 inch bust with room, 27 inch waist, 38 inches around hips. Shoulders are 16 inches wide and sleeves are 24 inches long

CLEANING: hand washed
Black classic rayon crepe dress with fancy neckline. The necking is a dusty peach covered with lace. Pointed bust with points of black fabric on each side and a drape of fabric under the bust. The front of the dress has a low pointed waist with small gathers in the skirt. There is a hanging drape of fabric on the side of the skirt. Long seamless sleeves. Unlined, metal zipper down the back.

CONDITION: The dress is in good to very good condition with issues. The black lace around the bust has several splits and tears - too delicate to repair. There are three 1/4 inch holes on the front of the dress just above the waist and 3 more small holes on the lower side of skirt. Some tiny picks and snags in the crepe.
