Vintage 1940s Black Evening Gown with Sheer Cut Floral Velvet, 37 bust, New York Creation, some issues

ERA: True vintage item from the 1940s
MEASUREMENTS: the item is 54 inches long, it will fit a 37 inch bust with room, 32 inch waist, 45 inches around hips. Shoulders are 15 inches wide
MATERIAL: rayon crepe, cut rayon velvet
LABEL: 'New York Creation'
Black rayon crepe gown with silk velvet top that has cut floral and stripe designs that are sheer on the sides and back. Solid black crepe on the center of the bodice. Rayon acetate tank top under the sheer top. Metal side zipper, fabric belt, unlined.
CONDITION: The dress is in very good condition. There is a 1+ inch tear at the back of the neck. There are small scattered 1/8 inch holes on the chiffon shoulders, 1 inch hole on the back of shoulder near neck.
The skirt has multiple small holes around the hem, most are 1/4 inch, one is 1/2 inch. The black of the skirt is slightly dull with light fade, and has some irorn shine.
