Vintage 1930s Blue Lace Gown & Slip: Evening Dress, 36 bust, damaged

ERA: True vintage item from the late 1930s to early 1940s
MEASUREMENTS: the lace gown is 53 inches long, it will fit a 38 inch bust with room, 30 inch waist, 38 inches around hips. Shoulders are 16 inches wide. The slip is 50 inches long, fits 36 inch bust, 36 waist, 42 inch hips
MATERIAL: rayon lace, taffeta slip

Royal blue rayon lace dress with gather at the center of the bust, high angled waist seam with skirt that fills out a little. Gathered half length sleeves with scalloped edges. All sheer with no lining, it has a separate slip. Metal side zipper on the back of the neck and on the side. The blue taffeta slip has straight neckline and straps that do not adjust. Seams pieces at the center of the bust. The slip is pullover style, no openings.

CONDITION: Fair condition. The slip has a large area of holes midway down the back, with some spots around that area too.
The dress itself has scattered multiple holes scattered over it, some up to 1 inch in size. Stain along the front of the neckline and 1 inch stain midway down the front of the gown. The lace is delicate and likely to tear more.
