Vintage 1920s Irene Castle Corticelli Silk Dress, Black Satin & Velvet Striped, 34 bust

MEASUREMENTS: The dress is 40 inches long, 14 inches across the shoulders, fits 34 inch bust with room, 35 inch waist, 39 inch hips

Black dress made of silk matte satin and velvet stripes. The sleeves are the matte satin with velvet trim around the slit on the ends on the sleeves, which flair. There are beige silk chiffon scarves attached down the front sides of the dress. Dress is pullover style with no openings. Straight skirt, no slit for walking. The dress is unlined.

CONDITION: Very good condition with some issues.
The beige silk scarves are aged and have brown spots scattered over them. There are thready picks in the silk near the bottom.
The velvet stripes are sewn onto the silk and they are unstitched in a few small spots here and there.
Tiny 1/8 inch hole on one shoulder.
The dress appears to have been shortened about 4 inches.
