MEASUREMENTS: the item is 28 inches long, it will fit a 24 to 28 inch waist, 56 inches around hips.

Black Silk taffeta Victorian skirt that has been shortened at the waist by someone adding an elastic waist. Pleats and pin tucks on the lower skirt with full bottom. Thin black cotton layer on lower half of skirt. Has issues that may prevent it from being worn as a skirt, but might be able to be used as a petticoat.
CONDITION: Good condition with issues.
The elastic waist has been sewn sloppily with white thread.
When you hold the skirt up to the light you can see many small holes in the taffeta.
There are also tears in the cotton under layer.
