Tiny Vintage Metal Box with Painted Bird on Shell, 1 inch

Tiny metal box with lid that has what looks like shell on the top. On the top is a little hand painted bird in green and yellow. The box is unmarked. I don't know what the original purpose was, but it is a cute little collectible.

CONDITION: The box is in good condition. The metal has wear and faint pitting to the surface. A small spot of wear on the bottom corner of the shell top.
