Very elaborate white cotton dress with handmade crochet Irish lace, pintucks, embroidery, Eyelet and drawnwork and wide sheer lace. The dress has Irish lace around the neck, sheer lace over shoulders, eyelet, embroidery and drawnwork around the bodice and the short sleeves, which also have 2 rows of lace on their ends. The fitted waist is sheer lace rows. Then the elaborate design continues on the skirt with the addition of 3 sections of wide sheer lace and 3 sections of cotton with tiny pintucks. The bottom of the skirt is full. Hooks and tiny thread covered buttons down the back of the dress. Unlined.
CONDITION: The dress is in very good condition but needing some repairs.
There is a 1+ inch hole in the lace on the top of both shoulders.
About 12 holes in the lace around the waist around 1/4 inch and slightly larger.
Repair at the waist on the edge of the opening on the back.
The middle cotton section has a 1/2 inch tear in the eyelet and a 1 inch hold repair.
Some of the hooks are loose or have missing pieces.
A few small holes scattered in the lace of the skirt.
