Great but rough vintage catalog for McCalls transfer patters for hats, sweaters, embroidery for clothing, smocking, quilts, crewel embroidery, needlepoint and stuffed toys.
Includes smocking for peasant blouses or dresses, crochet sweaters, faggotting trims for clothing, patchwork and smocked quilts, Mickey and Minnie mouse cloth dolls and transfers, cross stitch for linens and clothing, hats, children and bay clothing with appliques and embroidered details, doll clothing, stuffed animals and dolls, pillows, knitted sweaters, fancy collars, aprons, lingerie, and house dresses, purses, linens, samplers and household items with embroidery and appliques.
So many cool items! This catalog is of patterns that were available at the time, it doesn't actually have patterns or instructions on making the items.

CONDITION: The outside if very rough. The front and back covers are dirty and ripped up. The tabs on the right side of the book for the different categories are all torn up and very rough. The front and back cover are loose from the catalog.
The catalog starts at page 35 so the first 34 pages are missing - but neither index mentions any page before page 35.
I saw at least 1 missing page. There are a few images cut from several pages.
There is a chunk missing from the bottom left corner missing from most of the pages.
The inner pages are good, some have tears on the edges, but the images are nice.
The divider pages are a heavier paper and they are aged more with very rough right edges and torn tabs
Some pages may have random aging or age spots.
