Antique Edwardian Dress, White Cotton Embroidered Front & Lace Trim, High Neck, Crochet Buttons, 34 bust

ERA: True vintage item from the 1900s
MEASUREMENTS: the item is 55 inches long, it will fit a 34 inch bust with room, 26 inch waist, 46 inches around hips. Shoulders are 14 inches wide and sleeves are 23 inches long, the ends of the sleeves are 6-1/2 inches around - no openings.

Lightweight white cotton long dress from the early 1900s. A lot of details on this dress. High lace collarTulle lace in the neckline with Irish lace trim, lace pieces with ruffled edges on the front to the back of the shoulders. Cotton panel down the length of the center of the dress with embroidered flowers. Lace around the waist, 4 crochet covered decoratibe buttons on the bodice. The sleeves have fold and tiny pintucks with sheer tulle lace and Irish crochet lace with flowers. The sleeves taper at the ends and are 6-1/2 inches around. The bottom section of the skirt is full with tiny gathers, inset lace and narrow folds around the skirt. Hooks on the back of the high collar and small white buttons down the back. The dress is unlined and slightly sheer.

CONDITION: The dress is in very good condition, wearable. It does have minor flaws including - 3 dark brown lines on the bodice, a few inches up from the waist. One of those lines in 1 inch, the other 2 are smaller. There are a few small brown spots scattered on the dress 1/8 to 1/4 inch. There is a 3 inch area of small brown spots on the hem in the back, and a 5 inch line on the fold of the hem with brown spots. I soaked the dress to remove surface dust and aging, but I didn't give it a hard soak to remove the dark spots.
The hem of the skirt was taken up several inches in the back buy hand. Those stitches were removed, but the old fold line of the hem still exists.
There are small scattered holes in some of the lace, across the front of the neck and the inset lace around the lower skirt.
