Antique Christening Gown, Victorian 1800s Baby Infant, White Cotton with Embroidered Trim

MEASUREMENTS: The item is 36 inches long, 8-1/2 inches across the shoulders, 8-1/2 inch long sleeves. It is 20 inches around the chest - best suited to fit up to a 19 inch chest.

Long white cotton Christening gown for infant. It has embroidered trim around the neck. Sections of gathered cotton and horizontal pleats down the front of the gown. Embroidered floral trim around the fuller bottom of the dress. There are 8 buttons on the back that open the gown, and then 8 decorative buttons should go below.
CONDITION: Very good condition. 1 functioning button is missing along with 8 decorative buttons. There are a few teeny brown age spots. There is a 1-1/2 inch tear on the back of the gown.
