Vintage Woven Tapestry Purse with Scenic Dutch Frame, 1920s, JemCo

ERA: True vintage item from the  1920s
MEASUREMENTS: The purse is about 9-1/2 to 11 inches wide x 8-1/2 inches plus strap/handle
MATERIAL: cotton woven fabric, metal frame, silk lining
LABEL: frame is marked 'JemCo'
Antique woven cotton tapestry purse in black with soft shades of yellow, red and blue. The top closure lifts to open the frame. The frame has scenes of windmill, 2 men, fences, farmland etc. Silk lining.

CONDITION: The purse is in good condition. There is a 1/2 inch orange stain near the bottom. The outer fabric is excellent with only very minor wear.
The metal frame is tarnished and it's finish is worn off. Rust spot on the side of the top closure.
The silk lining is shattering and needs to be replaced.
