Vintage Whiting & Davis Chainlink Mesh Purse with Fancy Design, Fringe and Blue Stones, Soldered

ERA: True vintage item from the early 1900s
MEASUREMENTS: The purse is about 5 inches wide x 7 inches plus 1+ inch of mesh fringe, and strap/handle
MATERIAL: metal
LABEL: stamped 'Whiting & Davis Mesh Bags'
Gold tone metal frame with floral design, pinch closure with a dark blue stone on each. Very fine chain mail body with circle designs within the mesh at the bottom and 1 inch mesh fringe too. Oblong links on the wrist strap. The bag is unlined.

CONDITION: The bag is in good to very good condition. The bag is tarnished and discolored and needs to be cleaned - I have not tried to clean it. There are a few links missing on each side under the hinges of the frame.
