ERA: True vintage item from the 1940s

MEASUREMENTS: the item is 53 inches long, it will fit a 38 inch bust with room, 31 inch waist, 40 inches around hips. Shoulders are 15 inches wide

MATERIAL: rayon crepe, sequins

LABEL: 'Irvin Detroit'

Light seafoam green gown, made of rayon crepe. V-neck with short sleeves, gathers on each side of the waist, no seam across the front of the waist, band across the back of the waist. Large floral design in aqua, green, blue and gold sequins. 4 on the front and 3 on the lower back of skirt. Metal side zipper, slit on the front of the skirt, unlined. 

 

CONDITION: The dress is in good condition with some issues. The color has allover light fade and areas of more fade - on the upper back and shoulders, around the hem and areas of the skirt. There are also a few light scattered stains on the gown, 1+ inches.

The sequins are all intact and colors of the sequins are bright. There is no discolor under the arms.
