Vintage 1940s Red Gabardine Short Jacket, Single Button, 40 inch bust, some issues

ERA: True vintage item from the 1940s
MEASUREMENTS: the item is 27 inches long, it will fit a 50 inch bust with room, 54 inches around hips. Shoulders are 15 inches wide and sleeves are 25 inches long
MATERIAL: wool and rayon gabardine
LABEL: none
Light red wool gabardine with an orange undertone. The jacket is midweight with a singe button at the front of the neck. Open down the front, cuffed sleeves, slightly fuller bottom. Very shallow pockets - you can't get you full hand in the pockets. Acetate satin lining.

CONDITION: The jacket is in good condition. There are some shiny marks over the jacket. There are two 3/4 inch black rings midway down the front edge. One cuff is pinned and needs to be tacked in place. The jacket is lightly dirty along the cuffs and shoulders. Stain with a small hole on one sleeve.
