Vintage 1940s Blue Velvet Tilt Hat, elastic strap Lord & Taylor

ERA: True vintage hat from the 1940s
MEASUREMENTS: The hat will fit any size head, will need a pin to secure
MATERIAL: velvet
LABEL: 'Lord & Taylor Fifth Avenue'
Gathered velvet in a medium shade of blue. Small disk base with velvet folded around the front and 2 fanned velvet pieces in the back that stand up. The velvet around the back of the head is gathered on one side and twisted on the other. Elastic cord on the back to help hold it on your head.
CONDITION: Very good condition. There is very faint brown aging along the folds on the velvet over the hat and some brown spots at the base of one of the fans.
