Vintage 1920s Embroidered Black Dress Rayon Jersey, with Damage, 42 bust

ERA: True vintage item from the 1920s
MEASUREMENTS: the item is 49 inches long, it will fit a 42 inch bust with room (46 inches around the chest) 42 inch waist, 50 inches around hips. Shoulders are 15 inches wide and sleeves are 23 inches long
MATERIAL: rayon jersey, embroidery
LABEL: none
Long sleeve black rayon jersey dress with sleeveless overlay that is split up the sides. There is embroidery and decorative buttons down the front. Dropped waist trimmed with rayon ribbon trim around it. The sleeves are wide at the ends but stitched to make it fitted at wrists with the rest of the sleeve hanging. The overdress and underdress are attached around the waist and the underdress has black silk panels in the front and the back of the neckline. Embroidery on the back of the dress as well. Pullover with no openings other than the snaps on the tops of the shoulders.
CONDITION: The dress is in good condition, could be better with repairs. The silk lining in the front and the back of the neckline on the long sleeved underdress is shattered and needs to be replaced.
The sleeveless over dress is torn on the tops of both shoulders with several holes around them.
The neckline on the sleeveless overdress is torn across the back with a piece missing and several holes around it, including a 1 inch hole on the upper back.
There are also small scattered holes on the dress including a 1/4 inch hole on each shoulder.  Several buttons are missing.

The price reflects the damage. If the dress was in excellent condition, it would be priced at over $250.00
