Vintage 1920s Black Velvet Evening Dress, 36 inch bust, damaged

ERA: True vintage item from the 1920s
MEASUREMENTS: the item is 42 inches long, it will fit a 37 inch bust with room (41 inches around the chest) 41 inch waist, 44 inches around hips. Shoulders are about 14 inches wide.
MATERIAL: silk velvet
LABEL: none
Sleeveless black silk velvet dress is pullover style with no openings. Dropped waist with wide band of velvet around the dress and an Art Deco rhinestone brooch on the front with hanging fabric. On the back there is a section of fabric hanging from the neck. Narrow string of white beads around the neckline. The dress is unlined.
CONDITION: The dress is in Fair condition with issues. It looks like there was once fabric in the neckline on the front and the back, now gone. Most of the white beads around the neckline are missing and some are hanging loose. The velvet is worn thin in a large area on each underarm leaving the fabric sheer on each side. The skirt is loose from the waist several inches. Small scattered holes over the dress and wear to the velvet.

The price reflects the damage. If the dress was in excellent condition it would be priced at about $200.
