Victorian Black Faux Fur Jacket with Velvet Collar, 1800s, 34 bust, celluloid buttons

ERA: True vintage item from the late 1800s
MEASUREMENTS: the item is 22 inches long, it will fit a 38 inch bust with room, 38 inches around underarms. Shoulders are 16 inches wide and sleeves are 21 inches long
MATERIAL: faux fur (rayon?) and silk velvet
LABEL: none
Black short faux fur jacket with two black celluloid buttons. The collar and cuffs are thick silk velvet. Fabric loops for the buttons. Cut straight down the sides, black cotton lining. No pockets.
CONDITION: The coat is in very good condition. The faux fur is worn off of the fabric button loops and off of the front edge of the jacket. A few small scattered wear spots in the faux fur. Velvet is very nice. The cotton lining has some wear and fraying under the arms.
