#BLACK-481- Velvet Halter Dress w/Rhinestones - $60.00

Era - 1950s
Measurements - 48 inches long, fits 34 inch bust, 23 waist, 36 hips
Label - none
Fabric - rayon velvet

Black velvet dress with halter that has metal set rhinestones on it. The halter loops over the head, it does NOT open at the back of the neck. The waist is wide and fitted with a seam under the bust and another at the natural waist. There are some diagonal darts on the top of the skirt, skirt is narrow with slit in the back. There is a metal zipper on the back, dress is unlined.

Condition - This dress is in very good to excellent condition. It does have a pin dot hole on the front of hip. There are some blemmishes in the velvet and it could use a more patient steaming than the one I gave it.

#BL-487- Black & White Dress w/Puff Sleeves & Skirt - $18.00

Era - 1980s
Measurements - 40 inches long, fits 34 inch bust, 25 waist, full hips
Label - none
Fabric - sheer cotton blend over polyester lining

Black sheer woven cotton blend with stamped white dots. Has puffed sleeves with elastic. The bodice is fitted and the skirt has a puff of fabric over a ruffle around the bottom. Has a nylon zipper down the back.

Condition - Very good to excellent condition. There is a 1/4 inch hole in the ruffle on the bottom and a tear on the lining on the back, which has been repaired.

#BL-491- Black Cotton Velvet Gown -

Era - late 1960s to early 70s
Measurements - 54 inches long, fits 35 inch bust, 31 waist, 40 hips
Label - none, appears to be handmade
Fabric - cotton velvet

Long black goth gown with flutter sleeves. There are buttons down the bodice on the back. Curved seam under the bust, small gathers on the front of the shoulders, nylon lace on the neckline. Dress is unlined.

Condition - Excellent condition. No flaws seen. I'd change the buttons to pretier/fancier ones.

#BL-521- Black Crepe Peggy Hunt Gown -

Era - 1940s
Measurements - 56 inches long, fits 34 inch bust, 25 waist, 36 hips

Fabric - creped rayon

Super nice long and clingy gown by Peggy Hunt. It has kind of a low neck with fancy black appliques along the edges. Looks like there was one nude fabric under the lace, but that is now gone. The back has 3 fabric covered buttons and loops at the top of the neck, then there is a keyhole opening and then 26 more fabric covered buttons and loops. The dress has no seam at waist. The skirt seam is slightly dropped below the waist and is scalloped. The bottom of the skirt is slightly fuller. Dress is unlined.

Condition - Excellent condition. There is a 2 x 2-1/2 inch L-shaped repair less than 1 inch up from the hem on the side of the dress. The repair is lines of stitching and it doesn't show much at all. There were 2 buttons missing, but I corrected that. Perfectly wearable dress.

#BL-530- Black and White Checkered Gown w/Huge Skirt - $75.00

Era - 1950s
Measurements - 55 inches long, fits 32 inch bust, 24 waist, full hips
Label - none
Fabric - rayon

Black and white gingham gown with a huge full circle skirt. It has a super-fitted bodice with square neckline. There are decorative fabric covered buttons down the back of the bodice. Pointed waist, unlined, metal side zipper.

Condition - Very good to excellent condition. There is a 1/4 inch pick/hole on the front of the neckline. The neckline and arms look like they were slightly unfinished or being altered, because they are only baste-stitched on the edges and need to be neatened up with fresh stitching or trim.
